Currently, Song Moo Kwan Taekwondo and Haedong Kumdo are main programs within the main school and its branches. Each martial art is taught as its own complete program. None of the training is "a mix of..." martial arts. The physical training has taught how to promote and develop the core concepts of self-esteem, self-control, and self-defense. While these are part of all true martial arts schools, our emphasis drives from encouraging the personal development of our students. The additional principles from across several martial arts provide the insights into learning, growth, and diversity. These lead to creating students who have skills that apply to ALL aspects of their lives.
You'll find thoughts, stories, and announcements in our blog. I hope that you enjoy them.
